Pascal has built a global reputation in early-stage financial services innovation and investing. He co-founded MiddleGame Ventures with Michael Meyer and Patrick Pinschmidt. His deep knowledge of and strong following in the financial innovation ecosystem stem from his extensive experience as both an investor and operator in financial services and technology.
Pascal previously co-founded Route 66 Ventures, with Michael, and built it into a globally-ranked fintech venture capital firm. He brings years of experience as an operator of businesses and startups across different sizes and stages, an executive with large financial institutions, and an investor in the financial services industry.
Pascal served as CTO/CIO for a large asset manager, Goal Financial, before becoming a venture capitalist. He also worked in various investment, financial, and operational roles in the technology space. More recently, he served as the U.S.-based Venture Partner for Mouro Capital (formerly known as Santander InnoVentures), the in-house VC arm of Spain’s largest bank.

He is a chartered financial analyst and a graduate of Institut Supérieur du Commerce in Paris and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He is married, has two grown-up daughters, and lives in Luxembourg City.
