MiddleGame Ventures Champions Luxembourg’s FundTech Future

Posted: 23 Jun 2025

At MiddleGame Ventures (MGV), we are proud to support the relaunch of the Luxembourg FundTech Accelerator Initiative, a key strategic effort to future-proof the fund services industry through innovation and digital transformation.

Following the successful inaugural edition in March 2023, the upcoming program will again be delivered by the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT), with the backing of the Ministry of Finance, and in close collaboration with leading industry bodies including ALFI, ABBL, LPEA, and L3A. MGV is pleased to continue its role as a founding partner of the initiative, contributing hands-on mentorship and thought leadership to the next wave of fundtech innovators.

Why This Initiative Matters Now

Luxembourg’s fund ecosystem is one of the most critical pillars of the country’s financial services landscape. As global regulatory pressure increases and investor expectations evolve, technology is not only a competitive advantage, it’s a necessity. FundTech, which encompasses the digital tools and platforms that enhance fund administration, compliance, reporting, and investor relations, is now central to driving long-term efficiency and resilience.

By accelerating startups that are rethinking fund operations, from automation to analytics, from digital onboarding to blockchain record-keeping, this program will serve as a catalyst for transformation across the sector.

“At MGV, our mission is to invest in and partner with the companies building the next generation of financial infrastructure. Supporting the FundTech Accelerator aligns perfectly with that vision, and reinforces Luxembourg’s role as a global hub for regulated digital finance,” Pascal Bouvier, Co-Founder and Managing Partner.

Building the Next Generation of Fund Infrastructure

The accelerator will provide selected startups with:

  • Expert mentorship from seasoned fund managers, technologists, and investors;
  • Real-world pilot opportunities to test and validate solutions;
  • Support in navigating complex regulatory environments;
  • Access to infrastructure, funding, and go-to-market resources;
  • Direct exposure to potential clients and strategic partners.

By bringing together startups and established institutions, the initiative promotes cross-sector collaboration and ensures that innovative solutions are integrated into the broader Luxembourg ecosystem.

Industry stakeholders interested in playing a role, whether as mentors, sponsors, or supporters, are encouraged to join the conversation and shape the future of fundtech.
